ow, my back.

having set a new goal for myself of doing at least two art fairs this december, I set up my work four time this month. i learned a lot. first, that there are some wonderful people that live in the same city as i do, who support local artists and genuinely care about their community in doing so. secondly, life is complex (well, i already knew that). it is not possible to know exactly what is reliable and what is not - only calculated risks. thirdly, i believe i might have found a new niche for myself. between the blog and getting artwork out for sale semi-regularly, i think i could put some time and energy into this. if you read this blog, i'd love to hear your input. and lastly, setting up and taking down does a toll on the body, especially the mid-back region. i was, however, impressed with how much i could fit into one little honda civic. thank you to everyone i had the pleasure of interacting with this past month. i hope for more conversation in the future. david
